He's got a challenger, but the challenger is a nobody, just a Trump hater. His name is Ross Barkan. His wikipedia entry lists him as a journalist (freelance), writer (some articles) and a politician ( ?.)

He worked for the NY Observer for 3 years. Observer is a conservative news source. It endorsed Donald Trump and Barkan quit the next day. Yeah, one of those people.

He wrote an opinion in the liberal Brooklyn Daily Eagle rag that was over 1000 words. More like an article. Bet Eagle doesn't let many others use that much free space for opinions. All he did was bash Marty for the whole 'opinion.' 

If you look at article on wikipedia, make sure you read the writer work Flutter Flake. It will give you an idea why this guy can't get a job as a journalist. It's a stupid POS. I couldn't even read it, it's garbage.

Barkan's 'politician' title is that he's running against Marty Golden. That's it. Cause he put his hat in the ring, now he's a politician. Just like his other title, pure fiction. Another liberal who hasn't done a thing but wants to represent people in govt.

Barkan doesn't stand a chance in hell of winning. Since it appears he has no job, what better way to get money than from a campaign?
